The 62nd Honda New Zealand Motocross Grand Prix at Woodville drew more than 600 riders. Saturday was 30 degrees and dusty, and Sunday was wet and muddy.
Mangakino's Maximus Purvis won the first two MX1 races and could settle for third in the slippery final race. That gave him the class win and the Tim Gibbes Memorial Trophy for the first time. Hamish Harwood was second and Josiah Natzke third.
