The future of Kiwi motocross looked healthy in Tokoroa, where nearly 200 juniors raced the 2026 New Zealand Mini Motocross Nationals.
Jackson Slater was the standout, winning nine of his ten races over the meeting.
Mia Manston also wrote her name into the record books by winning the first all-girls class title at the event.
Motorcycling New Zealand said the numbers and the quality of racing showed a strong pathway for riders moving up into the junior and senior ranks. Full class results are available from MNZ.
